The 2 area filters on the map
These counts come from BnB Search's own directory data, read October 30, 2026. They change when listings are added or removed.

An area tag is a broad label. Open the map pin to see exactly where a listing is.
Lake Lure

The Town of Lake Lure defines a residential vacation rental as renting any part of a single-family home, and in some zoning districts a duplex, for less than 30 days. Its standards limit overnight occupancy to two people per bedroom plus four, or 12 people total, whichever is less. Parking is allowed only in the designated areas, the 24/7 contact must be posted outside the house, and each rental agreement comes with an addendum that lists the standards. On the lake, the town says a boat permit must be displayed on the boat. If you are in a rented boat or one supplied with your rental home, the permit does not allow towing, skiing or tubing. Children under 13 must wear a life jacket. No-wake hours are 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. from October through April and 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. from May through September. Swimming off town-owned land is allowed only at the town beach, which is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, and no one may swim more than 50 feet from shore without an observer in a boat. Chimney Rock
6 pins, 2 of them stays. The rest are inns and Chimney Rock State Park itself.
Chimney Rock Village's official site says shops and restaurants are open and that visitors can park in the public area at the western edge of the village, with limited street parking. Source: Chimney Rock Village.
NC State Parks says the fee-based Chimney Rock attraction gate is open 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in November and December, with ticket sales ending at 4:30 p.m., and the attraction is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The Rumbling Bald access, on Boys Camp Road in Lake Lure, is free for day use. The park page lists Weed Patch Mountain, Tunnel and Riverwalk trails as closed, Eagle Rock Access closed until further notice, and no camping in the park.
