Page, Arizona Vacation Rental Tips
The City of Page started licensing vacation rentals on September 1, 2026. Most of Chapter 113 is for owners, but a few parts help guests check a listing and know what to expect inside. Use Page and Lake Powell rentals to shortlist, then book on the property site. This page does not replace the first-time checklist.
Quick answer
Look for the city license number on the listing, and treat the rental as a home, not an event venue. City of Page Ordinance 753-26 (effective September 1, 2026; read October 30, 2026) requires the license number on every ad. It bans nuisance parties and event-center use, and it requires an emergency floor-plan map inside. The city is allowing a grace period for licenses through December 15, 2026. We do not rank managers or invent fees.
City of Page rules that affect guests
From the City of Page short-term rental page and Ordinance 753-26 (City Code Chapter 113):
- License number on the ad. Every online or printed ad for a rental in the city must show its City of Page vacation rental license number.
- No nuisance parties or events. A rental may not be used as an event center or banquet center, or for a nuisance party or unruly gathering, including excessive noise or traffic, crowds or cars blocking streets, or alcohol served to minors.
- Emergency contact. When police, fire or other public-safety staff ask, the owner’s emergency contact must arrive at the rental within one hour.
- Inside the home. Working smoke alarms, plus a posted floor-plan map with exit routes and the location of fire equipment, the property address and 911 information, and the owner and emergency contact details.
- Trash. Trash may not be left in public view except in proper collection containers.
These rules cover the City of Page. Listings in our Page hub can sit outside city limits, so read the pin and the booking site. Lake Powell itself is managed by the National Park Service.
