Gulf Shores Beach Parking Near Vacation Rentals

Parking at your rental is set by the property. If you drive to a public beach lot in Gulf Shores, you will usually pay. This guide sums up the City of Gulf Shores’ own beach parking page, checked on October 18, 2026. Rates and rules change, so check the city page and the signs at the lot before you park.

Quick answer

The city says paid parking is in place from March 1 through November 30 each year, and you pay with the ParkMobile app using the zone number on the sign. Under the rules the city lists as effective July 1, 2026, non-residents pay $2 an hour north of Beach Blvd, $3 an hour south of Beach Blvd and $4 an hour overnight from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Residents and property owners with a valid Hurricane Re-Entry / Beach Parking decal park free. BnB Search is a rental directory, so nothing here is ranked or rated.

Where the paid parking applies

The city lists these areas under its July 1, 2026 rules:

East Gulf Place is permit-only year-round for Gulf Shores residents and property owners with a decal permanently affixed to the windshield. Other cars there can be towed or fined.

Hours and overnight parking

The same page says paid parking hours are 7 a.m. to 2 a.m., with a note that new regulations take effect July 1, 2026, and it also lists the $4 overnight rate for 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. It says overnight parking is prohibited after 2 a.m. on city right-of-way or public property and at Lagoon Pass Park. Because the page gives both, go by the ParkMobile sign at your lot.

Fines

The city lists $75 per violation, plus $75 for every 24 hours the vehicle stays in violation. Vehicles may be towed or booted if parked illegally or if fines are unpaid.

Not covered yet

This guide covers City of Gulf Shores lots only. It does not cover Orange Beach, Gulf State Park or private lots, because we did not check their own pages for this guide. Parking at your rental is set by the property, so ask your host.
