Where to Eat Near Telluride Vacation Rentals
Telluride rentals are mostly ski groups and ski families in winter, plus hikers and festival crowds in summer. This guide is written for late October and November, when the town is in its fall off-season: the free gondola between Telluride and Mountain Village is closed October 26 to November 19, 2026, with buses running instead, and many restaurants close for part of that stretch. It lists 9 downtown restaurants that Visit Telluride, the official tourism site, lists as open for at least part of the fall, plus the closures it lists. Details come from each restaurant’s own website and Visit Telluride’s fall 2026 off-season dining page, checked on October 18, 2026. Visit Telluride says its list is still being updated, and where the two sources disagree we show both. Confirm hours before you go. For days out, see things to do near Telluride rentals.
Quick answer
All 9 places below are in downtown Telluride, on or just off Colorado Avenue. Visit Telluride lists most of the Mountain Village restaurants on its page as closed from October 26 or earlier, so Mountain Village renters may need the bus into town, a grocery run or a kitchen at home. BnB Search is a rental directory, not a restaurant critic, so the list is not ranked and shows no ratings.
