Getting from the airport

Ride apps: pickup is on the Departures/Ticketing level (upper level, inner lanes, Zones 1 to 3).
Taxis: on the Arrivals/Baggage Claim level outer curb in Zone 1, mainly from 5 a.m. to midnight. Six companies use the airport queue: City Cab, Crown Cab, Green Cab, Yellow Cab, Orange Cab and Royal Cab.
Taxi fares the airport lists: $32 flat to Uptown inside the I-277 loop, $16 flat within 3 miles of CLT, plus a $2.50 airport fee. Metered fares are $3.50 to start, $0.70 per fifth of a mile and $0.70 per minute stopped.
