Lake George Vacation Rental Companies: 14 Cottage and Cabin Resorts That Rent Their Own Units
If you search for a Lake George vacation rental company, you will not find many property-management companies. Our Lake George directory lists only a handful. Many of the cottages and cabins in it are rented by cottage resorts that take bookings themselves, by phone, by email or on their own websites. This guide lists 14 of those resorts from our directory.
We checked every fact below on each resort’s own website on October 23, 2026. Resorts are listed A to Z. This is not a ranking, we have not stayed at or reviewed any of them, and we do not publish ratings. Where a resort’s pages did not mention something, such as its pet rules, the table says “Not stated” rather than guessing.
Quick answer
Pick by lake access first, then pets and season. Seven resorts here describe their own beach or lakefront. Hill View offers beach access at Blue Lagoon Resort, about 2,000 feet away across Route 9N. Green Haven says it has no lake access. The Gold Eagle points guests to beaches a short drive away and Lincoln Log Colony to Million Dollar Beach, a 12-minute walk; both have pools. Several resorts give seasonal dates, so check dates on each resort’s own site before you plan a trip outside summer.
Compare the 14 resorts
“On the lake?” and “Pets” only record what each resort’s own pages say. “Not stated” means we did not find it on the pages we read, not that the answer is no.
