Aspen and Vail Airports and Getting to Your Ski Rental
This guide covers Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE), using its traveler information page, transportation options page and taxis and limos page, and Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE), using its airlines and destinations page, rental cars page and FAQ, all checked on October 18, 2026. Airline routes change and some are seasonal, so treat these lists as a starting point and confirm on the airline’s site before you book.
Quick answer
ASE is served by American, Delta and United, and RFTA buses from the airport are free into Aspen and Snowmass. EGE, in Gypsum, lists four airlines, most of them seasonal. Neither airport gives a drive time to Aspen, Snowmass or Vail rentals. BnB Search is a rental directory, so nothing here is ranked or rated.
Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE)
- Airlines: American, Delta and United. The airport says SkyWest operates for Delta and United and Envoy operates for American.
- RFTA bus: free into Aspen and Snowmass; fares apply for stops north past the Brush Creek Intercept Lot. Follow the signs at the baggage claim exit; the information booth there has schedules.
- Rental cars: counters are in the baggage claim and arrivals area, and returns are a few minutes’ walk from the terminal.
- Taxis, limos and hotel shuttles: meet them in the Ground Transportation Circle outside baggage claim. The airport lists dozens of permitted companies and says pre-arranging is advised but not necessary.
- Rideshare: pickup is on the front drive.
Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE)
- Alaska Airlines: seasonal, December to March: Seattle and San Diego.
- American Airlines: year-round to Dallas/Fort Worth; seasonal to Chicago O’Hare, Los Angeles, Miami, New York JFK and Phoenix.
- Delta Air Lines: seasonal, December to March: Atlanta, Los Angeles, Minneapolis–Saint Paul and New York JFK.
- United Airlines: year-round to Denver; seasonal to Chicago O’Hare, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, San Francisco and Washington Dulles.
Rental car companies and other ground transportation companies are inside the terminal, according to the airport; it lists Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Sixt in the terminal. The flyvail.com address returned an error to our checker, so we used the airport’s flyege.com pages.
